The past year had its fair share of challenges. Happy moments were somehow balanced with equally hard times.

When hardship comes along I believe there is always one thing, even little, that can drag you out from the low and bring back that energy to project yourself again. By only just opening up, you’ll get to see that in little moments there is beauty and with beauty comes vitality. Painting is that tool for me. It allows the dream, the possibility of imagining a new path and to materialise a new focus, a structure, a project. Creating, under whatever form it takes, leads to peace and I would go as far as guiding you back to life.

On the day of passage to 2024 I wrote those few lines -

To the kind words of friends around a warm homemade meal, to nature showing its most vivid colours and scents on a summer evening, to the smile of children when cuddling kittens, to the whistles of the shepherd passing by our house, to the bubbling of cooking fruits for jelly and jams, to the mounts of dry grass on the Transylvanian hills, to the wind blowing through an open window, to the joy of creating magic with a paint brush….to those instants of life which made 2023 so unique.
